Default Tach with Rev limiter??

Looking for a solution to protect the engine once Gov is bypassed.

MSD offers an ignition system part 4217 that is a totally programmable ignition system and you add part 8918 for tach signal.

This would allow for controlling the Rev as well you could have the tach for visible indication.

ISSUE: have to install a magnetic pickup on the coil to control this.

THOUGHTS PEOPLE????

Thanks,
Dog

Dog, you only need a tach for a short time. Your ear and feel for the car will tell you where you are RPM wise. Seat time and sneek up on it slowly.
And I think Sprid has the best idea on a rev limiter with a nail, certainly cheaper!
