Left is my Radio with Ipod adapter in left dash pocket.
Battery is in right dash pocket.
Solar charger over dash.
A bullet speaker on right and out of view is left bullet speaker.

Haven't dressed up wires yet.

did you cut the hole for the stereo or was there already one in the dash?

Does a radio fit in the hole where the old golf ball holder is or do you need to cut a larger one?

It fits width wise, but you have to trim the top. There a lip there that has to come off. I just did mine some guys do it while the hoods on but I removed my hood,it made it nice for running wires.

Thanks, I am sure the stereo's cover plate should cover up any flaws from trimming.

My apologies in advance for the hi-jack... but as long as we're on the subject... Does anyone who uses those aftermarket pods under the glove boxes know of a dash cover that matches the grain finish of them? I really like my speaker pods, but they look like an afterthought because they don't match the dash. Like a few others here, I put the head unit in the ball holder and the speakers in the pods all fed by an mp3 player clipped to the top of the dash for easy access.

Like several other folks I mounted a head unit in the ball holder. Width-wise it fit fine. For the height I trimmed the top lip with a dremel. I went to the local auto store and found an adapter that supports the head unit and attaches with two screws to the dash. The beauty plate fit perfectly inside the adapter.

I put the speakers under the seat- the battery compartment adds alot of bass- not the same as a sub but that is a later project .

The head unit and speakers are Pyle Marine- purchased from a local Bass Pro. I play from my iPhone through the auxillary or from a jump drive through the usb port. Love having music in my cart.
