Default 2006 PDS OOPs!

I was a stupid and was changing my batteries and didnt disconnect the power from the conroller and solenoid before changing them. One of my positives or negatives arced against another positive or negative. I am not sure if wasn't the red wire that comes off of the charger recepticle that arced either. All I know is that I was lifting a battery out and something arced. Anyways, nothing will happen if I push the gas pedal in forward or reverse. I have 35ish volts on the battery pack and have power at the solenoid, controller, and motor. It is not getting signal to go and the solenoid will not click. Could it be controller, solenoid, red wire from the recepticle, or what not causing my cart to not run? Thanks for your help.

Check the reed switch in the charger port.

Make sure you batteries are disconnected from the charger port, pull the cover with the three screws where your charger plugs in at. Inside you will find a third wire jump that wire and see if your cart will run. There is a picture from scotty on here, but was unable to find it.

Found it here you go.

If the reverse horn no longer works, it is probably the Reed switch. Battery arcs like to take them out.
