If you are doing this in the cart and the tires are on the ground make sure you have space in front of the cart in case your foot slips and the go pedal gets pushed down, because the cart WILL DRIVE AWAY while you fumble with the laptop in your lap. SAFETY FIRST!

The light will NOT come on without pressing the gas pedal.

I must have something wired wrong then. Because when I turn it on, put it in forward, the controller blinks 4 times green an then solid green. Is this okay?

I believe with the PDS all you need is the ignition in the on position to activate the controller, on a series cart I think you have to engage the go pedal to activate controller.

Almost forgot, the 4 green flashes, then solid green light is the controller recognizing the ITS. Sounds like you are hooked up correctly.
