Will probably wire it up this weekend, had to make a plate out of plexiglass to mount them in the dash where the radio would usually go. Will post after the install....

How did this turn out? The research I have done seems to point to a separate power source to the one measured. I am worried that using a couple batteries in the pack might give a chance of overload.

Well, got it installed and was messing around in the garage powerbraking and all seemed to be working well until I went outside and the meter is unreadable with any natural light! It is like it is not even on, could not read a thing. Well this whole project went south in a hurry, my cool gadget factor just went to zero

I think maybe LCD would better LED for outside. I have been looking at Ebay #260546536918 as it allows running on pack voltage. I will have to ask if it is readable outside.
