Ok I have removed the king pins finally with the help of some penetrating oil a socket extension and a four pound sledge. The bushings were shot and I destroyed the tops of the pins. All kind of crud came out with the pins so no wonder why they were stuck. Good thing I ordered the whole king pin kit from cpp. Hopefully the install will go a little smoother.
