Re: ezgo fouling plug
Don't know but have you tried a hotter plug?
Different type oil? Do you have a good strong spark? |

Re: ezgo fouling plug
same here.. stock plug.. have recently done the HEI conversion. Plug fouling was prior to HEI conversion.

Re: ezgo fouling plug
Check gas/oil mixture ratio. Could be too rich.

Re: ezgo fouling plug
I don't mean to barge in on this thread, but I'm going to eliminate my oil inj sys and mix my own fuel. I was thinking that 128:1 was rather lean.... most 2 strokes run 50:1, no? Anyone know what ratio the stock oil inj system is???

Re: ezgo fouling plug
It's 128:1 for normal operation. Only different for break in. At least that is what is calls for on my 79.

Re: ezgo fouling plug
Ok, cool!!! I removed my oiling system tonight and mixed up 1 gal of 128:1 and it started right up and actually smelled a lot leaner. I'm glad that's the factory spec. Thx for the reply.
