Default Good deal or not.........

I am talking with a cart gut about trading my used 18" turf tires for new all purpose 20". They are mounted on new black 8" wheels. He said he would trade for $250.
I am just looking for ground clearance and not sure if I want to lift. He said after driving it a while if i still felt like i still wanted a lift he would sale me a 3" lift for $250 not installed. Didn't ask if it was spindle or drop axl but I know it was not economy bc he said he doesn't like doing those.

Is this a decent deal? I am probably gonna do the wheels, then maybethe lift.

You can buy new 20" all terrain tires mounted on 10" steel wheels for less than $260 total with free shipping from one of the site sponsors and that sounds a little high for the lift kit too.

Here ya go... http://www.everythingcarts.com/c-113-lifted-carts.aspx

Browse around their site while you are looking. They have good prices and free shipping on orders over $99. I have ordered lots of stuff from them and always had good service.

One advantage 10" rims have over 8" rims is that you have to have 10" or larger rims to install disk brakes.
Other than that, I believe it is more or less cosmetic.
