Default Hard Vibration at Start Up

Question I have a electric 2002 Club Car, for the past week or so when you depress the pedal the cart had a shutter for a few seconds than smooths out. It occurs in reverse and foward. Power seems fine and it runs fine execpt for the shutter at start up. Thanks any advice is welcome.

Have you ever heard of a load test? Coup de Fouet is what a load test is measuring. The quoted text is saying the Coup de Fouet effect is difficult to use as constant monitor of State Of Health of lead-acid batteries. ie: riding around with a load tester attached to your batteries to determine their state of health is a poor choice of instrumentation.

In batteries that are dying, the Coup de Fouet of the discharge curve is steeper than that of a healthy battery. The battery's inability to sustain voltage under the load at launch is what causes the shuttering.

You Have been gone for 4 months.
Why the sudden interest? 8 posts in one day.... We have enjoyed your absence.

Who said anything about riding around with a load tester!?

Attaching a DMM to the pack and driving the cart will simulate the most practical load test for most owners.
