There should be a harness for connecting your factory lights already available in the cart . . . not sure if it is behind dash or a pigtail in the battery box area and there should be a harness for rear lights also . . . wait for someone more familiar with the Precedent model as I have a DS . . .

The light kit is likely set to pull from one battery in the pack. Did they give you a harness and instructions with it? The harness should connect behind the dash. What kit did you buy?

Also a note when pulling from one battery over time that battery will not charge as well and eventually will take the entire pack down. Better option is for a 48v to 12v reducer or separate 12v battery for accessories.

Just wanted to say thank you for staying with me during this install. With your help I got r dun!!!

I got the transformer you suggested and now need the instuctions of how to hook it up and the radio...
Can you steer me in the right direction?

. . . I would recommend buying a fuse block to distribute the 12v from reducer/convertor to accessories, this way each accessory will be fused separately and a neater install . . check site sponsors or eBay . . look for one that has a separate ground connection point so all accessory +/- spade connections go to fuse block and not to battery . . this is the one I bought:
