Default Re: 2008 Precedent Motor Upgrade Help

I read that thread Scuba, thanks. I have stock tire size so I am not going to gain speed there and do not plan on changing them, like I said, this is a golf course cart only. So, I am still looking for 24 MPH on stock tires preferrably with stock controller as well.

Checked the admiral site, thanks for that link Jason, looks interesting but says it is to replace a D390 motor, but my motor is an Advance Part #EJ4-4001; I am not sure if it makes any difference though, maybe someone here knows.

Erict, I cannot use an Alltrax motor as they (at least as far as I know), do not offer a replacement for the controller setup I currently have, which is the silver Curtis 1510 series controller. If anyone knows different let me know as I would gladly use an Alltrax, but only if the connection was simple.

Thanks for all your input everyone.

Stock tires and a PQ motor will give you your 24 MPH. If you read the thread you'd see that I got 26 MPH with the taller tires and have since then reached 28MPH. You'll also have better pickup with your shorter tires.

Call Alltrax. They now have a DCX controller to fit this cart, I have 1 in mine.
