Ezgo Marathon will not move
I have a stock 93 ez go marathon controller cart. I am in the process of restoring it and I cannot get it to move. Temporarily I have 3 12 volts hooked up and I have 38volts on batteries. I replaced the microswitch that is attched to the linkage. Currently I cant attach that linkage from the petal but I can press it manually. Also Just to try to get it to run I have a toggle switch hooked up instead of a key switch. When I flip the toggle switch I can hear the solenoid click but when I press the petal there is no click. When toggle switch is on the on position and I engage the microswitch I can hear a click in the solenoid. I do not beleive it is welded shut, but it could have a problem. The black and white wires coming from potbox that go to double microswitch are currently not hooked up. I have Attemped tests pertaining to voltage on controller and have found that the controller is fine.Everything spins, so I dont beleive motor is seized or anything. Wondering if microswitch is causing all these problems, or bad solenoid, or maybe I have my 12v wired up incorrectly. Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Ezgo Marathon will not move
Sounds like the problem is in the solenoid activation circuit. Follow this diagram below to see where the power stops......

Re: Ezgo Marathon will not move
Thanks for the reply Scott. All wiring in diagram is correct. How do I test the voltage in said circuit? I have 38 volts on sol, when I step on pedal it is not affected. When toggle switch is "off" (same as key off) voltage at sol goes down to 36.4, why? Where do I test w/my leads?

Should solenoid click (thump) when key is turned on?
