Please help!!
i just got all my parts in (alltrax 500 HD400 solenoid 2 extra batteries to make 48 volt and a resistor, now, im hooking the pack up so i can use a 36 volt charger and a 12volt charger but everytime i try to put the last wire on the -battery post coming from B-on alltrax i get a good spark whats going on?? this isnt normal is it? and also i have 12volts where im suppose to but i dont have 36 volts between my 2(36volt)charger leads and were going riding in the morning please any help! ThankYou

A PDS will spark unless you have the run/tow switch in tow... it happens... The spark is no big deal
DO you have a voltmeter so you can check your voltage where your 36v and 12v chargers are connected? What diagram are you following? |

i have 12 volt right. but not 36 i followed the diagram off here it said original posted by scottyb. i put the resistor between the 2 big terminals on on 400 solenoid but do i have to put a diode too? if so shouldnt have come with kit

I send out a resistor and diode with each solenoid. You need a 3amp diode for 48v. It will run without it but it will shorten the life of the solenoid.
Here is a diagram for you on the 12 & 36v chargers recharging a 36v ezgo battery pack. |
