EZGO 6 person info needed

Hi all, this is my first post as I just joined today. I have been reading threads for a while though. I have been looking at purchasing a used cart for a while and I really like the longer 6 person rides. I am looking at this one Friday and am curious if it is a good starting point. Opinions & info appreciated.
The owner says it needs new batteries. It does have it's original charger. Tires & seats are good. Rear seat is the flip to a cargo area kind. He is asking $1000 I plan on keeping it stock until the winter when I can work on it myself in the garage (I can do repairs myself). May lift and add custom body but a radio is a definite. he says it is 36 volt.
