Default True Dual Exhaust Manifold (pre-MCI)

It was a pain in the butt to put true duals on my '96 Workhorse. Getting the flange angles right and the bends around the governor and cables is what made it "Not" a five minute job.

Because of that, I took the time to do it again only this time the result is a quick bolt on set up with the bends and flanges already welded into place. Check out the picture below and tell me what you think.

Pretty cool. How does it sound. Did you have to rejet the carb?

actually no I didn't, I do put a muffler on each pipe (good for 11HP each)
Those cylinder shaped mufflers that look like a glasspack for lawn mowers.

2nd video without mufflers

It sounds nice with the mufflers.

My cell phone doesn't do the sound justice, and I agree, with the mufflers it's not so obnoxious sounding. In person it sounds even better.

That looks really neat. What did you use to bend the pipes?

nothing actually. I took pieces from a Cushman exhaust and welded them together.

Now that I have the pattern I'm going to get a tube bender and make them in one piece with stainless

I'm told it sound like a toned Harley, not as obnoxious. The sound when coming down hill is just amazing, sound like a jake brake on a truck. Without the mufflers it'll shoot little balls of flame out of the pipes and doesn't run as good as it does with the mufflers.
