solenoid wiring diagram
need wiring diagram for 36 volt 2000 club cart. can anyone help with this

need diagram for 2000 36 volt solenoid club cart.there are 2 large terminals on top and 2 small ones on bottom with a jumper wire.

All golf cart main solenoids work on the same principles regardless of make or size.
Re read that. Here is a generic diagram showing how a solenoid connects and why. Beware the jumper. The one on the large posts is a non directional resistor. The diode on the small posts is directional. It will raise hell with the system if it is reversed. Achieving the correct orientation (polarity) is possible if you read & follow this diagram on any cart. This is a generic diagram, your wire colors may vary. When in doubt leave the diode off. then when the cart is running use a meter to determine which of the small posts has the + wire on it and install the diode accordingly. I hope this helps. |
