On the inside of motor not the wires on the out wall but the armature ends looks like gray hard bubble gum melted into the copper

It's a weight. It's used for balancing.

The motor has power to it ,it sounds no different than when it ran good just doesn't turn

I think its the other solenoid it doesn't make any sound at all,it broke in reverse isn't one for forward and reverse? I think it needs to complete the circuit to run

I think I found out the controller has a blown diode in it guy told me to take off controller and shake it and listen for something inside sure enough something rattling inside little black piece of plastic

Yeah if there is something shaking inside it, it's probably bad...
