no click no start
I have a 04 club car precedent..it started dieing while driving. wait a bit and it would run great for 5 or 6 holes then die again. this went on for couple weeks. now no click no start..I have put new brushes in starter..new coil..new solenoid.and just replaced key switch...still nothing..checked fuse it's good..and new battery...I'm at my wits end. any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated..thank you in advance

Re: no click no start
From a 36 volt Ezgo gas powered cart to a Club Car with the same symptoms leaves me utterly confused. Are you sure what you're working on?

Re: no click no start
When it won't start, do you have 12v + on the blue small terminal of the solenoid? From your description I'm guessing the switch in the GCOR, but text it before randomly replacing more parts.

Re: no click no start
So that confirms the battery, fuse & key switch are OK. Now when it won't start, does the other small terminal (orange wire I believe) have continuity to ground as you step on the pedal?

Re: no click no start
I have a 95 Carryall that wont start with pedal. I jump solinoid and engine turns over. This cart has been a pain! I had fuel issues before, had all electric checked out the end of last year, now this! it was doing fine Monday!!! Any suggestions?

Check the sticky section for the wiring diagram (a DS wiring diagram is the same) grab your meter and start checking the wires at each of the switches to find out where you are losing power or ground. It would be in your best interest to start a new thread for better response instead of jumping into someone else’s with a completely different cart design. |
