I have a 04 club car precedent..it started dieing while driving. wait a bit and it would run great for 5 or 6 holes then die again. this went on for couple weeks. now no click no start..I have put new brushes in starter..new coil..new solenoid.and just replaced key switch...still nothing..checked fuse it's good..and new battery...I'm at my wits end. any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated..thank you in advance

From a 36 volt Ezgo gas powered cart to a Club Car with the same symptoms leaves me utterly confused. Are you sure what you're working on?

When it won't start, do you have 12v + on the blue small terminal of the solenoid? From your description I'm guessing the switch in the GCOR, but text it before randomly replacing more parts.

So that confirms the battery, fuse & key switch are OK. Now when it won't start, does the other small terminal (orange wire I believe) have continuity to ground as you step on the pedal?

The "on/off" switch in the GCOR or the wiring to & from it are bad. The blue wire provides the 12v + through the key switch, the GCOR switch completes the circuit to ground to engage the solenoid.

95 carryall doesn’t have a GCOR. There’s a pair of microswitches in the black box, key switch, and a pair of microswitches behind the shifter lever (though one of them only makes the reverse buzzer beep). The other one behind the shifter (the one with 3 wires) could cause this. The key switch failing could cause this. Either of the 2 inside the black box could cause this. A failed solenoid could cause this as well.

Check the sticky section for the wiring diagram (a DS wiring diagram is the same) grab your meter and start checking the wires at each of the switches to find out where you are losing power or ground. It would be in your best interest to start a new thread for better response instead of jumping into someone else’s with a completely different cart design.
