Default Club Car DS - Voltage Regulator Wiring

I have a 48V 2003 Club Car DS Pathway and recently upgraded from 6 8v trojans to 4 12v lifepo4 batteries. All is working as it should, but as I now have 12v batteries. I cannot connect the voltage regulator that controls the lights, horn and brake lights as it is a 16v to 12v regulator.

So... can I eliminate the OEM voltage limiter that is on the B- end and connect the fuse panel to a 48v to 12V voltage regulator? Not quite sure why the OEM regulator is on the B- end of things in the first place. Please see the attached markup (Green lines) that helps clarify what I would like to do and advise if you see any issues doing it this way. Would hate to get this far in the process and fry something. Thanks in advance for your help.

Did you ever figure this out? Would love to do the same.

I use these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 that way you are using the whole battery pack rather than 1 battery.

I did not study your wiring schematic but you SHOULD be able to take the wires from the output of the 16-12 voltage regulator and hook it to 1 battery, watch your polarity, and your 12 volt accessories should work.

Thanks! I actually ordered the 25 amp version of it last night. The factory voltage limiter is kind of weird. The B+ goes to a fuse box and the B- goes through the voltage limiter to a rear negative terminal in the back of the cart. I hope to remove the old system and replace it with a fuse box and B- wire to the negative terminal block instead of grounded to the frame (OEM).
