G-9 dual exhaust
This is one of my early experiments. I cut the muffler open and removed most of the tail pipe which eliminated most of the baffels, then drilled the hole for the second pipe and welded it. It performed pretty well as best I remember and was fairly quiet. I need to go back and test it again now aginst my current exhaust.

How tough was this project? Could you tell a big difference after modding your muffler like this?

Actually it is pretty quiet, nothing like stock though. I think it would be most noticable on a buggy with the airbox off and this muffler. It will also work with the over size jet and a K&N air filter.
I was making pretty serious torque with it. I never realized my buggy sounded good, guess I don't hear it like everybody else. Spriddle I still have that setup if you want to try it, or we can make you one. |

Yep, thats my front porch. Thats Steve my youngest son (the baby boy) and his wife, he was showing out for her. He does all the real crazy stuff on my buggy.
