no forward but will reverse

wont go forward but will go full speed reverse,
Nothing happens when you push pedal ..not even trying to turn on.
Microswitch? or fnr cable?

If it starts up fine in reverse I'd should think the microswitch is ok.It doesn't care if the cart is going forward or reverse, it just closes the ignition circuit when you step on the gas.I think I'd look at the F/R switch, cables, and starter.You didn't mention the year or model, but my 88 marathon is very simple to get the F/R switch open.I don't even have to take any wires off.You can also try putting the F/R switch in the forward position, hold the throttle down, and move the switch around while keeping it generally in the forward position.You might be able to catch a spot where it makes contact and cranks up.Then you'll know your switch is acting up.And of course, clean all contact points.

It's an 2002 I believe
If the start gen works in reverse it works so I wouldnt think that could be a possibility

I'm not sure about this cart, but if it's a 2 cycle that spins backwards for reverse you could have a bad connection on the cables that run the starter forwards and still have reverse.
