Yeah that driven is wasted. even if it were straight, helix isnt even in contact with the buttons not clocked (preloaded). I just got done re-welding the guts on my exhaust (rattled) and even though it's all back to normal it's still a bit loud imo for a golf cart. idk if you can get just a front sheave for that driven...I'd think about replacing the whole driven if I were you new or otherwise. Re-clocking (pretensioning) them can be tricky first time round. If you can get one already done it's just less you gotta mess with.

Good point! I didn't even notice that the helix wasn't touching the button. I'd like to reclock it but I don't know how to take it apart?

Thanks! I have this video saved but I have a question.....I took my driven clutch off and I do not see a snapring. All I see is a set screw, is it possible my driven clutch is pressfit together?

My guess would be "no." The "snap ting" on my driven clutch is in 2 pieces, and sits down in a recess. I had to compress the clutch slightly, then was able to remove the 2 piece retainer with a magnet.

Look at it from the side.
Push that end in a little, and see the other splined shaft where the retainer is.

I think you have a replacement comet clutch like the one shown here. http://www.performancegolfcars.com/d...9882cycle.aspx

This is the one we are talking about with a 2 piece retaining ring.
