2 cycle stop & go on level ground, fine uphill

1990 EZ GO Marathon 2 cycle.
Sympton: Car starts fine, runs fine uphill (!!!), but on the level ground it runs, cuts out, runs, cuts out. Like stop and go. Not maxing out, but like I had removed my foot from the gas padel.

Fix attempts: Replaced carburator, fule pump, fuel filter, and accelerator cable.
Problem persists.

Suggestions?

I wish I had a suggestion. But I don't because I have the same problem with my 1990.

I'll wait with you for advice, suggestions, solutions etc.

First check the all your grounds.
Battery terminal to cable, cable to frame, frame to engine ground cable.
If all that looks good, Borrow an automotive timing light and hook it up.
Drive it and see if the ignition cuts out when it looses power. If it does start looking at your wiring for loose broken wires.
Also check your motor mounts. See if any are broken.
Engine can be shifting combined with bad connection causing shutdown.
