Default 79 E-Z-GO Gas Marathon Cables

Hello everyone! New to the forum and to the ownership of my first Marathon. Picked up a '79 gas which was in pretty bad shape and needed quite a few parts. My main issue I am having is trying to get the accelerator cable, throttle cable and governor cable and bracket(all which are missing) routed back to where they should be. The cart ran as the former owner had rigged a throttle cable to the carb; but it was broken when I bought it.They had also cut and moved the accelerator bracket as well. Just wondering if anyone could post some pictures from under the pedal assembly, the governor setup and where they go to the carburetor (or how to setup without the governor) would be greatly appreciated!! Thank-you.

You need a choke cable, and a throttle cable. Nothing more.

These pics will show how they connect to the carburetor.
Take note that the throttle cable slides through the lever, has a spring, and a ferrule on the end.

You can use the spring from an ink pen.

I found somewhere the spring on the cable is 1/4 x 3/4" - picked one up at local hardware and shortened.
