Re: ezgo gas engine volt drop and dynastarter getting hot
You need to charge the battery.
You can still do the load test right now. Not starting is ok with that test. |

Re: ezgo gas engine volt drop and dynastarter getting hot
I think you may have a starter issue. If the starter was getting hot and not working well, and now it isn't working at all.. I am voting you need a starter rebuild. Pull that baby apart and do some testing between the brushes.

Re: ezgo gas engine volt drop and dynastarter getting hot
i know what happens if you turn the wirres arround haha it gos backwards
everyting is working again but it still will not charge next question can i put a smaller pulley on the dynastart becous when i rev the engine it wil load the battery so i thought if i put a smaller pulley on the dynastart then it turns faster and then the engine has not have to work so hard what do you think about this ??? |

Re: ezgo gas engine volt drop and dynastarter getting hot
I don't know if this will help or not, back when all of us drove muscle cars, the high compression would cause the fields in the starter to get hot. Eventually it got to where when the engine was hot the car wouldn't start, if you let it cool off it would start again. What eventually happens is the fields will ground out and you won't get it to do anything.
