Default Push gas nothing have to feather

Hey guys totally new to cart world but soon want to start playing and learning to mod it up. I have a G2 i believe came with trailer purchase once i get back home in few weeks i can post pictures anyway problem I have is when i push peal down she doesnt want to go I have to kinda feather it few times till she kicks in then she runs perfect till next time. Does this mean my carb prob dirty or someting else? Thanks in advance I have big plans for this cart.

First thing i would do is clean the carb for sure and make sure it has nothing but fresh gas and a new fuel filter. If nothing changes from there, start looking at gaskets and hoses. also make sure valves are adjusted. all extremely easy stuff.

Also make sure the airbox I'd 100% sealed, especislly the lid. Any air gaps or looseness and it's not going to be happy.

Ok once I get back home I will check these things I am a complete noob but cant wait to learn and tinker with this stuff. The choke should i have to pull it all the way out everytime i want to start going then leave it in middle position? Also should i jut buy some sorta tune up kit and is there a preferd oil.

Once I get past the initial stutter she runs no problem it could be maybe i dont fully understand how i should be operating the choke positions.

Choke when its cold then that's it. After a couple minutes you should not need any choke

Like cp241 said. The airbox on that model are contrary. Be sure the lid is on and sealed. I have a g9 I'm working on. Same thing. I put a bungle around it tight till I got new hold downs
