Also, once its running right... Give don plowman a call for any performance questions. he is the man to talk to. he is a no bulls*** guy and gets to the point which is why he is great.

Ok sounds great been great help already she really cant be in to bad shape i mean she goes perfect after the first 3 or 4 seconds.

Are you saying when you first start it, you hve to pull the choke for it to start? And after that it is fine? What if you drive for 5-10 minutes, do you still have to choke it to start it?



I live in south GA and my G9 I have to choke it a bit when first starting it up, but never more than a few seconds. After I drive it around for a few minutes it's fine and dont have to touch th choke lever. This is pretty normal operation. My club car is the same way.

Also worth checking is the carburetor spacer between the carb and the head. They're plastic and crack *very* easily if overtightened. This will give you an intake leak and cause it to run lean also (requiring choke)

There's more torque in reverse because of the lower gear ratio. Check the accelerator cables for proper adjustment. Someone here has the G2-G9 service manual download.
