Ezgo will not move
I have an ezgo 2008 txt 36 volt cart. While driving I stopped and when I started to move I just here a clicking sound. The forward rev switch is on the dash and the rev beeper is sounding like it should. Please help do not know where to start looking for the problem.

Re: Ezgo will not move
Start by fully charging your batteries. Let it set for 12 hours and tell us what your pack voltage is.

Re: Ezgo will not move
don't worry about charging the batteries. With the way that it broke, take a look at the motor wires and Forward/Reverse switch wiring.
Solenoid could have failed, but start with the easy stuff |

Re: Ezgo will not move
All the wiring looks fine. Where do I find the solenoid and how do I test it to I see if that is the problem

Re: Ezgo will not move
Solenoid Test
Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery. Remove all wires, resistor, and diode from solenoid. Test 1 Connect a volt meter, set on continuity, place on the two large terminal studs. The meter should indicate no continuity, Replace the solenoid if continuity is present. Test 2 Using jumper wires attach from main positive and main negative of battery pack to the two small solenoid studs, polarity is not important. You should hear a click as the solenoid engages, and the meter should indicate continuity on the two large terminals. Replace the solenoid if continuity is not present. If solenoid clicks rapidly solenoid is bad. |

Re: Ezgo will not move
On a stock cart the controller and solenoid are located under the black environmental cover located under the passenger side of the seat.
