Wow - we are picture heavy
I think I found your problem. You said " I do have the FN1 speed dial but it isn't hooked up. " If the controller is programmed for any of the FNs and that FN is not plugged in the controller will default to the "normal' or what is usually the slowest setting. |

"Pic heavy"... I've got a few more if need be. The 3 green flashes I'm getting on the controller LED... is that the accurate input for your pedal? Thank you!!! |

Re: 89 CC DS Solid State Conversion Build Problem
Yes 3-blinks or 0-5v is the correct type for the throttle in your picture.
The FN defaults to the minimum set for speed if unplugged, so you should notice a big difference when you plug it in and dial it up |

I also don't think your contactor is wired correctly. With the SR control you shouldn't be going to B+ from the contactor. I'm about to install one myself so I know that's not right. You should also use the bottom hookups for s1,s2, what you have labeled as B+ should go to M1 on the controller.

Re: 89 CC DS Solid State Conversion Build Problem
I'm not knowledgable on this conversion - but this sentence from his first post stuck out to me....suggesting mis-wiring F&R?

Re: 89 CC DS Solid State Conversion Build Problem
I still believe my assessment was correct as verified by Sergio's post that although the cart is running in F&R F is weak or slow - This is caused by being programmed for the FN switch by me and the FN switch not being plugged in
