That Series drive on your cart will make a good base for a hunting cart. Mine also started out as a 36V resistor coil cart. The Series drive system are simple compared to SepEx systems and are known to be workhorses. Mine has been great for a hunting cart, check out my add-ons in my signature that mostly came from Scottyb at www.cartsunlimited.net
