02 EZGO brake hub keeps going out
This is the 3rd time our brake hub has went out on our lifted gas '02' EZGO TXT. Wondering if anyone has any idea why this keeps happening and what I can do to stop it. Thanks in advance.

Can you post pictures of the axle splines and the hub?
If the same one has stripped out 3 times, I would have to guess the axle splines are probably worn/rounded making it easier to strip in the hub. Which is compounded by larger/heavier tires and lift kit. If so, the only true "fix" would be to replace the axle shaft. |

Torque the nut on the axle to 150 pounds . Don't back off the nut to put the pin in the axle, if the pin won't go in tighten it a little more |

Thanks for the replies. I was always tightening it by hand. Im gonna torque it on this time. Thanks for the help.
