obc bypass
have followed the obc sticky (i.e.joined blue and white, cut the rest and ran to negative battery direct) but cannot get cart to go forward. runs in reverse ok put it in forward goes for one second and comes up contactor welded. have replaced solenoid, mcor, f & r switch, speed sensor . Cheers

Well the OBC is not going to cause that. Since it only happens in forward it’s probably a dud controller, but could be a failing field coil or bad connection on the motor. Check the wires that run to F1 and F2, make sure they connected properly at both ends, no corrosion, damaged insulation, or burned or discolored ends from overheating.
Check that the F studs on the motor are not rusted or corroded, and make sure they’re not twisted or damaged. |
