Default New Windshield

Need a new split clear windshield for my 2018 as it has a lot of hairline scratches all over it.

Looking for something on the same quality of OEM Club Car in regard to thickness of the acrylic screen as I've heard the thin ones flap around a lot.

Recommendations?

Thanks

Have you tried the plastic polish yet? I don't recall the brand name I used(can check later)but mine cleaned up real nice.

I’ve got the thin ones on both of my carts. I used some felt tape in the spaces between the mounts where it was rattling cause it was driving me crazy. No more squeaking or rattling anymore.

The oem ones are very nice but also big $$$$. A little felt tape goes a long way imo

Since what you have is scratched already try watering down toothpaste and using an orbital sander/polisher with a polishing pad. I did this years ago with plexiglass and it worked pr3tty well. If you’re going to replace what you have this may be worth a try.

Here's option #2 for restoring the one you have. I've used it on boat windshields and it works pretty good.

Yeah that's the ticket Captain. I used the #2 only with their polishing cloths.

Ending up getting a new Club Car windshield that had marks/scratches on it.

So that one is going back.

Today I ordered the Novus 3 pack and will have it tomorrow. Watched a few video's and looks pretty good.

Hope to get to it over the weekend and will post pics of before and after.

Thanks

The only decent windshield I've found is the one directly from a dealer. Ordering online can be a crap shoot, don't know if they re-boxed a cheapo or if it gets beat up in shipping.
I've tried at least a half dozen different ones from various sources and not one of them has been half as good as an original from Club Car. Pay now or pay later...
