2008 EZ-GO ST 2 lift ?
I recently bought a 2008 EZ-Go sport ST 2, and from what I understand it has a factory 2" lift on it. I just installed a Jake's 6" spindle lift on my cart and it is huge.
The question I have is now the angle of the motor seems to be fairly drastic. Is this going to hurt anything on the motor or is there anything I should to do prevent something from happening to my motor? Thanks in advance! |

no u are fine,
just remember only put 1.5 qts (if you have robins/subaru motor) or 1qt (if kaw engine) and remark your dip stick. the dipstick will now be wrong. Your oil pump will be in oil. |

Good to know. I will do that today.
Would you happen to know how big of tires I will be able to put on it now? |

Re: 2008 EZ-GO ST 2 lift ?
I stay with 22/23 for stability on our carts. I am a dealer. I would say you could run a 24 if you want.
I just became a bad boy buggie dealer (currently ezgo and yamaha) and they have 24" on them as standard height. |

Thanks! I was thinking a 23 would be plenty since I am keeping the 10" wheel

Re: 2008 EZ-GO ST 2 lift ?
One more question about this set-up, should I replace the rear shocks with a longer shock? If so, where would I find this. The front seems to ride fine, but the back is stiff.
Or could I remove one of the leaf's off of the rear to soften it up a bit? |
