Canvas top?.
Got g1 with the top all jacked up, I play a lot of golf so I need a roof, I just don't want to spend the 400 on aftermarket roof, I was thinkn canvas roof of some kind and was just wonder if anybody has done this, what kind of fabric exactly was used and maybe some pics would be awesome, an ideas at all would be great!

It was my plan all along to do this but scored a Yamaha top for $80. The material I had chosen was the Sunbrella fabric. They have a great site and many products and ideas available. Wish I could help more.

Another idea for the fabric is to go to your local boat shop or yacht club and see if they have any old sail cloth lying around. That would make a strong top for you.

I bought my clubcar roof/windshield used. I have $215 in it...cheaper than new. Actual roof only would have been $50.

Don't know where you are Jaymbro... but I have two tops, one off a G8 and one off a G14... top and frame, I will sell cheap.... I'm in Western Kentucky. If that will help... building a limo and gonna go with a soft top. Thanks
