Default EZgo with mid rise 2 inch oem lift what tires

Has anybody used these on a EZGO TXT with standard rims. Only worried about width clearance.

Have a EZgo with mid rise 2 inch oem lift

Just installed a set of 22x11x10 on my cart with a factory 2" lift. I was told it would run 20"s without scrubbing. I have a 6" lift I was going to use but my wife liked the looks without the lift so I thought I would try it out. We rode the woods and trails this weekend and no signs of scrubbing.

Any pics of the tires on cart in this config? The lift you had is the 2in OEM mid rise? assuming offset rims, what offset?

Thanks

I will measure the off set tomorrow but I bought the 2" lift was stock from Ez-Go. I bought the tires from the same golf cart shop where I bought the lift kit and they said it would scrub. We rode it hard through the trails, mud and woods and never did. I have tried to attach pics

If I remember correctly it has a 3+4 offset (I think this is standard for 10" rims. I ordered the 10" rims with 205.50.10 low profile tires from Rocky Top Carts (now Trade Mark Carts) a year or so back. I had the Sahara Classic 22 x 11 x 10's installed on the rims a few weeks ago. They give a good ride on pavement and looks to work well on trails. The cart is a 2004 Ez-Go TXT with a 295cc Robins engine.

Sahara Classic is the style I was thinking would work for me. Your cart looks good with this set up.

If you could, what king of clearance do you have on the rear tires to the leaf springs and then also the front right tire to the steering knuckle.

Assuming based on your comments no bottoming out? or rubbing body or frame?

Thanks

A 2 inch lift with 20 inch tires should be ok but they may scrub in some situations. I have Sahara 22s on one of mine with a 4 inch lift and depending on the terrain they can scrub as well. Drive like a normal person and you should be ok.

aladd6, I checked the clearance between the rear tire and spring and it is slightly over 1 1/2" and with the front tire turned as far as it will go there is slightly over 1". I did pull my records and it has an Ez-Go mid lift kit. The suspension appears stiff compared to carts with a 6" lift, not sure is that why I haven't scrubbed. Rode double on logging trails this past weekend and I am still happy.
