Looking to see if I can find the specs for my 2007 ParCar motor.
I have a 2007 ParCar and looking to see if I can find the full specs on the motor.
ParCar M/N: P4E-LE-48A S/N: P4LE4-4ZF0244 Motor: (Looks like a D&D to me) SID: 170-501-0001B S/N:3810 CPC Part #: 69300-03 SI: 719135 It says at 48V it's Peak HP is 16.8 Does anyone know what the Max RPM is on this motor? I've hooked it up to an Alltrax 48500 XCT-IQ. Looking to see what the specs are so that I am not trying to 'over work' the motor. I have the FNKS switch where you can adjust the Regen on the fly and also choose between 3 different user profiles. thanks in advance. |

Re: Looking to see if I can find the specs for my 2007 ParCar motor.
I have a 2006 that I converted to the Alltrax controller and, what I was told, is not to push much past 4,000 rpm.
I set the mode switch position 2 for 2900 rpm and position 3 for 3800 rpm. However, I found that my speed sensor has quite an error with the Alltrax controller and position 2 gives me 25 mph which back calculates to ~4400 rpm. Position 3 spins the motor well past that but gives me ~36 mph and is only used if I'm feeling frisky around another cart on the street. Position 1 is set for 15 mph (~1900 rpm setting)and is just used on the golf course. I could probably fix the speed sensor issue by changing the magnet but I just haven't felt the need to do so since I would have to pull the old one first for comparison. The motor is a D@D but they won't talk to anyone but Columbia as it's proprietary to them. I suspect the speed sensor magnet may be unique to Columbia and good luck getting detailed info. That is really hit and miss. This motor does not generate much regen power and I have the controller settings around 300 amps but I don't believe the motor generates enough voltage to push that much current back to the batteries. Regen braking is good but not overwhelming. Hope this helps. Dick Love the Alltrax....much improved over the Sevcon. |

Their response was, "What specs? Why do you need them? What are you trying to do?". They said this is a "Proprietary" Motor built for Columbia. Said I would need to get specs from them. I was kinda hoping that TechSupport might be able to provide some info. I will just have to wait and see. It looks like it has been a little time since he was on BGW. I get it ... we all have lives. No big hurry at the moment. It is currently stripped to just a rolling chassis and getting all cleaned up. Thanks for the reply. We had spoken before about the Alltrax XCT conversion. I did end up COMPLETELY rewiring everything myself and also swapped the throttle for a Curtis PB6 style 0-5k. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk |

Even the specs we show are somewhat limited, but I can see what I can find this week for you.
