Re: Lithium Batteries
Thanks Bamma Brad and all for your reply! I have read this thread and most I could find on this website, as well as others.
As I said I was impressed by RoyPow but have found the closes dealer to me in Columbia SC, about 3 1/2 hr drive form here, no shipping, I have to pickup at store. I would think Hilton Head, Savannah or Jacksonville Fla. would have a dealer. If there is I haven't found their advertisment. I'm a little leary of ebay in the event I need support. Anyone know of a Site Sponsors near me that sell lithium packages or ship? |

Re: Lithium Batteries
I will give update after One Eleven in Summerville SC installs my 105 RoyPow battery, 20 amp charger, gauge and a PlumQuick Bandit motor.
Talked to them about picking up and doing myself but I am heading north to Santee SC next Monday for three days and decided to drop off my cart and let them do everything while I play golf. |

Re: Lithium Batteries
I bit the bullit and had the RoyPow 105ah lithium 48 volt battery installed along with a PQ Bandit motor!
Speed increased from 19 mph with lead acid batteries and stock motor to 30mph with upgrade! Everyone at One Eleven Golf Carts was great, thanks to all! Question, should I remap controller for the Bandit motor? |

Re: Lithium Batteries
Yes. I would contact Alltrax and get a field map for your new motor.

Re: Lithium Batteries
Contacted Alltrax and they said the DCX does not need a new field map.
If someone has a bandit motor with the DCX 500 IQ controller can you give the numbers you have in your setup. My cart is a little jerky on start but seems better with the bandit than it was with the stock motor. |
