the b+ goes to one end of the solenoid and from the other side of solenoid goes to + first battery. just like the diagram.

I ended up breaking off a stud on the f/r switch. can I use on from a 93 model?

Hmmm to me it would seem the F/R may have been the original issue if the stud broke...usually this happens because it got hot, now for your question...you can use the entire contact board assy(the board with the contacts through it) from the 93, but you need to reuse the rest of your original components from the first F/R

ok I switched it out, but now it will only click in reverse. I used the same micros.

new solenoid, pedal micro,2nd f/r switch, all new wires,cables and connectors motor was checked to work before I even began. diagram checks out everything tight, batteries at 37.33 volts. the only thing I can guess is the problem would b the controller or the f/r micro switches?

ok I just tried to get a reading off the m- and b- and it didn't show battery pack volts. the only way I can get a battery pack reading it off of one big post and either small posts on solenoid

Can you post some pics of your F&R conversion including some pics so we can get the big picture on the microswitch wiring?
I think your trouble may have something to do with the F&R  |
