Club car 48 volt system 4 12 volt batteries
Hi - I replaced my batteries and took pictures of the wiring before buying new cables. I put in the batteries and now the lights, horn, turn signals and brake lights do not work. Any ideas where I went wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Check your pictures. My guess is that you left one of the small 10 gauge wires off the main + battery or the - battery.

There are 4 12 V batteries? Either you have a voltage reducer which connects to the main positive and main negative, or the lights were wired up to one battery for 12 V. If you don’t have a voltage reducer, get one. The uneven draw will damage your new batteries long-term.

If so, I would check/do everything Luke and Walter have suggested you do. |

Re: Club car 48 volt system 4 12 volt batteries
Thanks for the responses. I doubled checked the wires and they are both attached. I do not understand why the red wire is on the main positive battery and the blue wire is attached to a positive post on the last battery in series. I would have thought it would go on a negative post, but my original pictures show that is the way it was prior to me doing anything. The lights and horn worked properly at that time. Found some solder fuses on a yellow wire but no other. Does anyone know if there are fuses anywhere else. Thanks

The red wire on the main is for the charger. BTW does the charger work? And the blue wire sounds as if it is where it belongs. If the charger doesn't work you are missing the common connection. I have also heard in the past that there is a bullet type connection near the last battery that gets pulled loose.

See the yellow connector circled in yellow. See if it is connected. I'm almost certain that is the common connection for your accessories.
