Electric Pedal twitchy sensitivity
I have a question about my 06 g22 pedal sensitivity. I don't really know how to explain it besides the pedal doesn't seem variable with the pressure applied. It goes just fine, but if you left off a bit it seems like it disconnects power altogether rather than reducing it. So you're coming up to full speed and reduce throttle by 1/4 press and it seems to just cut power from there until you give it more.
Then clicks back in when you reach the speed where it accelerates again. Just seems sort of twitchy or jerky, instead of smooth controls like were in my 91 marathon. I have found a few things with obscure references to a tac sensor. I'm probably explaining this poorly and i was not able to find anything via search because of this! Thanks for any insight. |

Re: Electric Pedal twitchy sensitivity
Check the plug at the end of the motor not bolted to the axle. Is it connected? Just hanging there?
That is the tach sensor (motor rpm sensor). |

Re: Electric Pedal twitchy sensitivity
Plug seems fine, everything looks clean. Maybe it could more be described as a delay. I've never driven a yamaha before so maybe it's normal. Thanks for chiming in :D
