1989 ezgo low compression
i am new to forum hope someone can help me out thanks in advance i have a 1989 ezgo it ran great then wouldnt start it trys but wont turn over so i checked compression and it was 20 so i put oil in cyclinder it went up to 100 any ideals?

EzGOGO gives you short but concise answer. You need to buy a top end overhaul kit. New cylinder, new pistons, new rings. You could also rebore your cylinder and use an oversize piston but pricewise there is not much in it.
circa $250. You could also consider a complete engine kit at around $400. It would be sad to increase the compression only to blow out the bottom end. |
