Default Custom dash panels

So I am trying to get ideas about a custom dash panel to make for my G9. share your ideas. Treadplate, wood, plastic, etc... I want to have a couple drink holders and place to mount the stereo. It's possible I may mount the stereo under the roof but not sure yet. I thought about buying one of those vacuum formed dashes but what fun is that??

I was planning on going with the plastic dash only because its inexpensive, easy to install, and still looks good. I think if you painted it Harley Orange it would look pretty cool?

Here is a link to the stereo build I did in my Precedent, I went the fiberglass route because of the ease to work with.

I made mine out of curly cherry. Just start with a cardboard template to get the contours. For the switches and oil light I had to use a forstner bit on the back side of the dash to get the proper thickness. The finish is Spar varnish like they use on a sail boat to hold up to the rain.

Yea Mike you are right. My Girlfriend says I have a disease called icanmakethatitis and it is affecting everyone around me. LOL It probably wouldn't be so bad if I would just follow through on half the stuff I tell her I can make. LOL
