Default Re: 1992 ignition coil

mmmk...is there anything other than the coil that could keep the coil from firing? i just want to make sure i check everything possible that would keep the ignitor from firing before i have my father-in-law buy the coil and i make a fool out of myself for not checking everything...do/can the micro-switches not be working properly? ive been told that this cart worked well until a tree limb landed on it...but i do not see any damage from something like that...ive had an absessed tooth and couldnt work on this cart lately...

Thanks.

the only thing in the system is the ignitor, rpm limitor, coil, spark plug and spark plug wire.......and the few wires connecting limitor/ignitor to coil................................

sounds like a high probability its the coil...i think weve gone thru this before but i just double checking myself..(whoa, they gave me meds at the dentist) BUT getting money from my father in law is close to watching a certain group of people fight for a penny and make copper wire..ya know. thanks again, now all i need to do is convince the moneyman to buy the part.
