Default GXT 804D Key Start change back to PEDAL

Hello forum. I have found this place to be very helpful and this is my first question asked that I have not found an answer for in other places here. I am still working on a valve adjustment that I haven't gotten quite right. But my question for this thread is about PEDAL starting. I just got my cart a few months ago and it had a key start installed. I don't know if the pedal switch quit working and the previous owner bypassed it or what. I am not sure what the wiring in the pedal switch should look like. Right now there are no wires running to it. I have two going to my key switch and the cart starts idling when the key is turned on.

I think this is a problem that relates to other problems with my cart because if it idles for a longer period the engine floods and sputters etc. I want to switch back to a pedal start and then adjust the throttle cables, idol and governor for the pedal start setting.

Any help with pictures of correct wiring on a pedal switch and then how the key switch links into that will be greatly appreciated. I am self taught on all this kinda stuff so I learn as I go. Please be as direct and clear (dumbed down) as possible. Don't assume I know your terms. Thank you for your patience in this regard. I look forward to hearing some feedback. I am loving the forums.

If you had it where it would idle, would that ware the belt while pulley spun around on belt in same place while idling? I had thought about doing that then thought about pulley ware. I also decided why, I guess it was because I never had anything that died when you stop unless something was wrong with it.

Does anyone have any answers on this? I recently obtained a GXT804 Tuff 1 also and was actually thinking about going from the pedal start to key switch start. My brother helped me bypass the switch that kills spark when you let off the gas. but when we started it, the engine started revving high without our foot on the gas- I don't understand that. If anyone had any info on these that would help with mods like this that would be great.
