loss of power uphill
2004 ezgo txt 295cc engine, cart runs fine on flat, but really loses power going uphill. not sure if belt is to loose or something in clutch?

Need some more information.
Does it have regular power on flat ground? Is the cart lifted? Does it blow white /blue smoke? Is there oil in the air cleaner breather? Does both exhaust ports get hot? If not pull the spark plugs and check them for fouling. Make sure both cylinders have compression. Known for chucking rods and still running. |

Is the engine slowing down or still spun up? If it is slowing down you probably have compression issues, if not belt or clutch.
