Default loose steering

I have a Jacobsen gxj same as marathon I am told.the steering is lose the tie rod ends are tight. it looks like the loose play is in the gear box. can I get parts for this gear box? thanks for any advice.

Welcome to BGW Can you post a pic of your steering gear ? It may be easier to find a replacement gear and shaft assembly if in fact there the same. I have 2 spares if they are the same.
