lost a step
my 2010 2+2 sport seems to have slowed down just a bit. it runs fine but it could be my imagination it has slowed a wee bit. any ideas?

Could be a number of things but, the first thing I would look at would be governor adjustment. Tighten it just a little and see if it picks up.

Cables do stretch as well as belts. As sc said adjust the governor a little and see if that gets it back. If you don't know how to do that and I assume Kawasaki motor. On top of the transaxle is the governor, two cables going to it. The small one is the throttle and should have a small rubber boot on it. Loosen the 10mm nut next to the boot, slide the cable through the bracket and tighten the other one. Don't go too far as you can risk engine damage without a tach.
