Default driven clutch

looking at new driven clutch for 2005 ezgo txt, saw some on ebay 28 degree, 36 degree. what does the degrees mean. some just say driven cluth for gas and give years

It's the angle of the Helix in the clutch, a 28 degree helix because it's a steeper angle will make the clutch harder to open like keeping it in a lower gear longer which will give you a little more power. 36 degree is what the fleet golf cars came with and usually the utility carts like the workhorse got the 28 degree helix

Most cart owners turn to the 28 degree just for the advantage of hill climbing power.. It's a good upgrade if you need a little ummmph!
