G22 Won't turn off

We have this cart that we use to pick balls on the range that starting acting funny. Only after it warms up for a bit it will keep running after letting of the gas and stopping. It will just sit there and putter. It keeps doing it if you turn the key off too. It usually quits after a minute or so, or if you mess with the gas and choke it may stop after a while of trying. If it's acting up and you turn the key off it will move if you press the gas. Once it finally stops, it wont move until you turn the key on. I replaced the stop switch for the gas pedal and the solenoid.

voltage regulator. unplug it and try again. dont drive too far. or unplug it while the cart is stuck cranking (be careful of spinning parts, runaway cart , ect.)

Hi. I have the same issue with my 2003 g22a. Starts great, Run strong but won't turn off when the key is switched off. The key must be on to start it, but won't turn it off. Appreciate any help.

I think your ignition kill relay has failed, in combination with a carb butterfly that is adjusted too far open. I am not talking about the main relay, this relay is much smaller (but located under the same black cover on the driver's side under the seat). I'll post the part number in a minute.

Is there a way to test the relay before buying a new one?
